Cam Cooper

National Organizer

Cam’s career began as a volunteer in the marriage movement in Indiana in 2013, where they discovered their passion for organizing. They took an internship with the campaign fighting the marriage ban in Indiana before being hired on as an organizer for Hoosiers Unite for Marriage, the campaign that followed the 7th Circuit hearings all the way to victory for statewide marriage equality. Enjoying the more challenging initiatives, they worked for underdog non-discrimination campaigns in Missouri and Pennsylvania, before jumping onto a campaign for stricter background checks in Maine during the 2016 cycle. A Hoosier at heart, Cam moved to Massachusetts to continue working in volunteer development.
