Rachel has dedicated her career to fighting corruption. She spent 18 years as a journalist in her hometown of Rochester, N.Y., where she held government accountable. Tired of reporting the same stories about our broken political system and its inability to solve problems, she ran for office. Rachel is a Monroe County Legislator known for pushing reforms related to ethics and good government. She is passionate about communicating about issues related to corruption and democracy — and why we should care. Rachel has a B.S. in communication from Cornell University and an executive Master in Public Administration from Syracuse University’s Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs.
