Local Action Teams
Americans are organizing everywhere to pressure Congress
What is a Local Action Team?
Local Action Teams are self-organized groups in cities and states all over the USA who are committed to making sure Congress is defending the Constitution, holding the executive branch accountable, and working in the best interests of constituents.
Local Action Teams:
- Meet with Members of Congress and staff on key issues
- Educate friends, neighbors, family, colleagues
- Organize events and bring the community together
Our Local Action Teams are popping up in Congressional districts all over the country:

We need Congress to show courage
Local Action Teams are powering our nationwide Congressional Courage Campaign that’s designed to pressure Congress to take on corruption and hold the executive branch accountable.
Imagining a Better Future
We’re not pushing to restore the old system.
Because the truth is, the status quo wasn’t working for most Americans long before today’s crises.
If we rein in the worst abuses of power, going back to “business as usual” would leave the same rigged rules in place: the same loopholes, the same influence of big money, the same uncompetitive elections and lack of accountability, the same system that benefits the wealthy and well-connected over ordinary Americans.
That’s not good enough.
We need a government that works for ALL Americans, one that listens to the people, protects our freedoms, and upholds the rule of law.
👉 We believe in building something better. With your help, we can.
