Corruption in our government has become blatant, and it’s a danger to our democracy. Officials are profiting from the power we gave them. From self-dealing and pay-to-play deals to regulations written for the industries they’re invested in. Everyday people are the ones paying for it, in higher bills, wasted tax dollars, and institutions that answer to the powerful instead of to us.

Together, we’re urging Members of Congress to investigate and expose executive branch corruption and abuses of power, pursue accountability, and reform our system so that our leaders answer to the people, not the powerful.

It’s easy, impactful, and essential for our nation.

What do Accountability Campaign volunteers do?

You’ll help drive critical federal accountability efforts at key moments when public pressure matters most, pushing Congress to open investigations, follow the facts, and close the loopholes that let corruption happen in the first place.

You’ll get alerts, support, and training from RepresentUs staff, and take action from home by calling congressional offices, sending messages, organizing others, and spreading the word online alongside a community of likeminded and committed volunteers from across the country.

Our volunteers are:

  • Organizing in key congressional districts, educating voters, visiting offices and creating creative visibility and educational campaigns to inspire a critical mass of local constituents to act
  • Sending millions of text messages and making thousands of phone calls to constituents urging them to contact their Members of Congress, demanding accountability for self-dealing, pay-to-play deals, and abuses of power
  • Helping engage friends and neighbors on issues of corruption and accountability, to generate nationwide pressure at pivotal moments to recover the rule of law and secure our democracy

Accountability happens when people demand it.
