WE NEED DHS ACCOUNTABILITY.
NOW.
DHS agents have killed and unjustly detained Americans. Officials have defied court orders. The Justice Department won’t investigate.
Congress has the ability to stop this abuse of power and hold those responsible to account. We the People are demanding they take action.
TELL YOUR REPRESENTATIVE:
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH
Congress exists to hold the executive branch accountable. They have the tools to investigate and find out who carried out abuses, and who in leadership authorized, encouraged, and covered them up.
We can make Congress take action. Send this message to your representative:
To My Member of Congress:
Federal agents have killed Americans and brutalized countless people. Officials have defied court orders. The Justice Department refuses to meaningfully investigate. That leaves you.
Across the country, people have been shot, detained without due process, and in several cases killed. These have included American citizens and children. Communities are traumatized. Corruption allegations have reached the top of DHS, including questionable contracting and a report that Border Czar Tom Homan took bags of cash in an FBI sting operation. It’s a pattern of abuse that this administration has fueled with its orders and rhetoric. And we’re still waiting for real federal investigations.
You have the power to change that. I am asking you to push for a full congressional investigation into:
- Abuse of power and high-level corruption at DHS, including killings, due process violations, arbitrary arrests, racial profiling, inhumane conditions of detention, and improper contracting since January 2025.
- Who gave the orders. Who set the tone. Who looked the other way. Investigations must reach the top of DHS and the White House.
- The ongoing failure of the Department of Justice and DHS itself to conduct independent, thorough investigations of these events.
This is not about immigration policy or enforcement. It is about whether this Congress will allow any federal agency to engage in abuse of power–including through deadly force–without facing the consequences.
Sincerely,

OUR PLAN
How We'll Force Congress to Grow a Spine
Earlier this year, we launched a nationwide campaign to push Congress to stand up to executive branch abuse, corruption, and overreach.
Across the country, grassroots Local Action Teams supported by RepresentUs are popping up in Congressional districts–both Democratic and Republican–to engage and press their lawmakers, educate their neighbors, and organize their communities.
Together, we can push our members of Congress to do the right thing.
JOIN THE MOVEMENT
Thousands of Americans have already joined the movement
and we need you with us.
THIS IS A CRISIS OF ACCOUNTABILITY
POWER HAS EXPANDED. OVERSIGHT HAS NOT.
The Trump administration, with congressional support, has significantly expanded immigration enforcement while pushing for aggressive and often cruel tactics. Today, ICE operates with a massive budget… and far less oversight than almost any other federal law enforcement agency.
The results are alarming. Agents have killed Americans. Large numbers of people have been detained without due process — including US citizens and children. Corruption allegations have reached the top of DHS. Officials have defied court orders. And the Justice Department has refused to investigate.
But there’s one institution with the power to ensure accountability: Congress.
CONGRESS HAS REAL POWER AND MUST USE IT.
The Constitution gives Congress tools to hold the executive branch accountable:
- Holding hearings and launching investigations
- Subpoenaing documents and calling witnesses
- Impeaching cabinet members and other senior executive branch officials
- Withholding funding
- Passing reforms via legislation
If Congress won’t act on its own, we must push it to do so. We have the power. It’s time for us to take action.
