This measure, passed by the voters on November 6th, 2018, requires that any person or group spending money to influence city elections disclose the true sources of any major contributions they receive.
Proposition Number 419:
Dark Money Disclosure
Proposition 419 requires that individuals and organizations disclose any campaign donations valued at more than $1,000 that are intended to influence Phoenix elections. This fosters greater transparency and prevents untraceable campaign donations known as “dark money.”
