Jarod Landaker

With over 17 years of experience as a FullStack Web Developer, the last 7 years of those at RepresentUs, Jarod has been passionate about programming since around 12 years old. His journey in web development began with Macromedia (Adobe) Flash, creating websites for friends and himself. Committed to continuous learning and embracing AI tools, Jarod stays at the forefront of technology.

Jarod has always believed in logical, honest, and transparent politicians who do their job. He has been very saddened by US politics over the past decade, though he acknowledges that the entire system has been broken for much longer. Working at RepresentUs, has given him hope and inspiration working alongside such impressive peers championing a better country for us all.

After college, Jarod had the incredible opportunity to live in Japan for a year, enriching his appreciation for foreign culture and geography. It was during this time that he first embraced emoji, where it originated.

A lifelong lover of art, cats, videogames, music, and tech, he admires beautiful design and engineering. Recently he’s fully immersed himself in 3D modeling and printing. He also enjoys yoga and paddleboarding.

Jarod prides himself on his attention to detail and efficiency, accurately bringing provided designs to interactive, responsive life. Driven to improve user experience (UX) while enhancing projects with the latest web standards, Jarod aids in bringing more passionate citizens into The Movement.
